On a personal note…
from the desk of Jennifer Henry
“I really believe that small and medium-sized businesses are the life of our individual communities, sustaining both our families as well as yours. My personal goal for the next chapter in this company is to do everything we can to help our fellow entrepreneurs move forward with every advantage a professional brand development team can offer.”
If you’ve ever reached out to us, there’s a good chance we’ve spoken directly. This year marks over two decades since I joined SiteWyze, and I still find myself double-checking the math. But it’s true.
I was just 23 when I first stepped into this company—full of determination and armed with a commitment to serve well. Back then, I shared a giant curved laminate desk at our downtown Edmonton office, greeting everyone who walked in. It was noisy, fast-paced, and a bit chaotic, but I loved every moment of it.
In 2009, we moved to virtual offices, and while the flexibility was a gift, I missed the face-to-face connection with our clients. That changed in 2020, when virtual meetings suddenly became the norm—and honestly, I thank God for that. Now, I see more of you than ever before. I get to laugh with you, hear your stories, and learn what matters most to your business—all from my desk, often with a too-big coffee and a sleepy pup (or three) curled up nearby.
Since becoming the sole owner of SiteWyze in 2019, I’ve worked to deepen what always made this company special: our commitment to people. We’ve expanded our service offerings, sharpened our tools, and aligned ourselves with the growing needs of small and mid-sized businesses—those I truly believe are the backbone of our communities.
Today, we support nearly 300 active businesses, from right here in Alberta to far reaches of the Americas. But behind every project, there’s still the same focus: real people, real relationships, and a desire to serve well.
We’re not just building websites—we’re helping businesses grow, pivot, and show up well in a world that changes fast. Whether that means refreshing your content, strengthening your SEO, or launching your brand from the ground up, we’re here to help.
And if you’ve ever wondered how we do it—how we stay clear-headed, responsive, and organized while serving so many—the answer is simple: the right people, the right systems, and the right heart. I’ve captured that in the Service That Lasts book series, which shares the very strategies and mindsets that guide how we operate every day. If you’re looking to lead with excellence or serve your own clients better, I invite you to check it out.
This company has grown and evolved—but our purpose remains the same. We’re here to help you put your best foot forward and build something that lasts.
Thanks for being part of the journey.
