CHANGING THE TIMESTAMP

Using webmail as your primary mail application? A timestamp is the time and date that your emails display as being sent and/or received. When you use a software on your computer (i.e. Outlook), the time/date automatically will match the local settings of your computer. Within webmail, you will need to adjust these manually if you would like them to reflect your local time. This is important for those who frequently use webmail as their email application.

For the purposes of these instructions, we will use HORDE as our interface.

  • STEP 1: Log into webmail; select HORDE
  • STEP 2: Click on the gear icon along the top
  • STEP 3: Select PREFERENCES > GLOBAL PREFERENCES
  • STEP 4: Select LOCALE AND TIME
  • STEP 5: Adjust your languange, time and other preferences here
  • STEP 6: Click SAVE
