YOUR WEBSITE USES THE STANDARD WORDPRESS MENU STRUCTURE SYSTEM
- To edit your navigation menu, go to APPEARANCE > MENU along the left side of your admin panel
- You are using a very standard basic menu set up, so editing the menu is quite easy
- Along the left side of the editing screen, you will see the SOURCE of what you can add to your menu (pages, posts, etc)
- In the centre, you see the hierarchy of the menu as it is right now
- To add new items to the menu, select the source on the left, and click ADD TO MENU. The new item will add to the bottom of the existing menu and you can drag it up into position wherever you like within the hierarchy.
- To remove an existing item from the menu, locate the item in the hierarchy, click on the down arrow to the right of the text, and click REMOVE
- To relocate an existing menu item, simply drag and drop it into the hierarchy where you want it to be.
- Remember to click the SAVE MENU button on the right once your are done making your changes.
Side note – if your website uses additional menus (sometimes used for various navigation sections, footer menus, etc), there is a drop down toggle above the hierarchy displayed on the screen where you can select which menu you would like to edit. When you are editing, make sure you are editing the correct menu.
